Jalaluddin Fath Shah
Jalaluddin Fath Shah was sultan of Bengal from 1481 to 1487, a member of the restored Ilyas Shahi dynasty. He tried to curb the power of the Abyssinian palace guards, who had grown strong under his predecessors, and was murdered by them in 1487. Their leader seized the throne as Barbak Shah, beginning a period of Abyssinian rule that lasted until 1494.
