Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah
Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah, born Jadu, was sultan of Bengal and the son of the Hindu landholder Raja Ganesha. He converted to Islam and ruled from about 1415 to 1433, apart from a short period when his father returned to power. He moved the capital back to Gaur, sent embassies to Ming China and the Timurids, and is known for buildings such as the Eklakhi Mausoleum at Pandua, probably his tomb.
