Person
Raja Ganesha
Raja Ganesha was a Hindu landholder of northern Bengal who seized power in the Bengal Sultanate from the Ilyas Shahi dynasty around 1414. His son Jadu converted to Islam and ruled as Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah until 1433, with an interruption in which Ganesha himself returned to the throne. The family's rule ended in 1435, when the Ilyas Shahis were restored.
