Gaudiya Vaishnavism
Gaudiya Vaishnavism is a Hindu devotional movement founded in Bengal by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486–1534), centred on the worship of Krishna and Radha through ecstatic chanting of their names. Its theology was set out by Chaitanya's followers, especially the brothers Rupa and Sanatana Goswami at Vrindavan. It shaped Bengali literature and religion and later spread worldwide through the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
