Kabars
The Kabars were three tribes that rebelled against the Khazar Khaganate in the 9th century and joined the Hungarians. According to Constantine VII, they formed the vanguard in war and taught the Hungarians the Khazar language. They took part in the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin around 895 and were later absorbed into the Hungarian population.
