Keiskamma River

The Keiskamma River flows south-east through the Eastern Cape province of South Africa into the Indian Ocean. In the frontier wars of the 19th century it marked one of the successive boundaries between the Cape Colony and the Xhosa, and the land between the Keiskamma and the Kei became British Kaffraria.
