South Africa
South Africa is a country at the southern tip of Africa. It became part of the British Empire through the Cape Colony and later conquests, and was united as a self-governing dominion in 1910. Accounts of the British Empire discuss its mineral wealth and governance, and accounts of the Rozvi Empire refer to the upheavals that spread north from the region.
