Kingdom of Ma'in
The Kingdom of Ma'in was an ancient South Arabian state of the Minaeans in the Jawf valley of northern Yemen, with its capital at Qarnaw and a religious centre at Yathill (Baraqish). Flourishing roughly from the sixth or fourth century to the first century BCE, it controlled much of the caravan trade in incense, and Minaean merchants left inscriptions at Dedan in northern Arabia, in Egypt and on Delos.
