South Arabia
South Arabia is the region of south-western Arabia, corresponding mostly to modern Yemen, home in antiquity to kingdoms such as Saba and Himyar. The Aksumite Empire had close ties with it and campaigned there in the sixth century. Accounts of the Aksumite Empire describe South Arabia as part of its trade and military sphere.
