1918 · 20th century · Also known as Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly

Komuch, the Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly, was an anti-Bolshevik government formed in Samara in June 1918 by Socialist Revolutionary deputies of the dissolved Russian Constituent Assembly, with the help of the Czechoslovak Legion. It raised a People's Army on the Volga, but after Red advances it merged into the Ufa Directory in September 1918, which Kolchak overthrew in November.
