Kowloon

Kowloon is an urban area of Hong Kong on the peninsula facing Hong Kong Island across Victoria Harbour. Its southern tip was ceded to Britain by China in 1860 under the Convention of Peking, and the lands to the north were leased in 1898 as part of the New Territories. It is one of the most densely populated places in the world.
