Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a territory on the southern coast of China. It was ceded to Britain after the First Opium War, a symbol of the Qing Empire's humiliation by Western powers. It developed into a major British colonial port, and its handover to China in 1997 is often taken as the end of the British Empire.
