Kumwimbe Tshimbu
Kumwimbe Tshimbu was a claimant to the Luba throne in the late nineteenth century. After the death of Ilunga Kabale, he fought a civil war against his rival Kasongo Nyembo. The conflict permanently split the Luba Empire into rival states, contributing to its decline.
