Kwahadi
The Kwahadi, or Antelope Eaters, were a division of the Comanche who lived on the Llano Estacado of the Texas Panhandle. Among the last Plains peoples to resist the United States, they fought in the Red River War of 1874–1875 under leaders including Quanah Parker. Their surrender at Fort Sill in 1875 ended the independent Comanche presence on the southern Plains.
