Later Liang
The Later Liang was the first of the Five Dynasties that ruled northern China after the fall of the Tang Dynasty. It was founded in 907 by the warlord Zhu Wen, who deposed the last Tang emperor. Its establishment marked the formal end of the Tang and the start of a period of political fragmentation.
