Life of Methodius
The Life of Methodius is an Old Church Slavonic biography of Saint Methodius, apostle of the Slavs, written in Moravia soon after his death in 885, probably by one of his disciples. With the Life of Constantine-Cyril it is the main source for the Byzantine mission to Great Moravia, and its mention of a powerful pagan prince 'on the Vistula' is usually taken as the earliest reference to the Vistulans.
