Lycaon of Arcadia

Lycaon is a mythical king of Arcadia in Greek legend, son of Pelasgus. In the best-known story he served Zeus a meal of human flesh to test the god and was turned into a wolf as punishment. Greek writers made his many sons the founders of Arcadian towns, and Oenotrus and Peucetius were said to have led settlers to southern Italy.
