Peucetius
Peucetius is a figure of Greek legend, a son of the Arcadian king Lycaon, said to have led Arcadian settlers to Italy with his brother Oenotrus. Ancient writers such as Dionysius of Halicarnassus used him to explain the name of the Peucetians of central Apulia, although that people's culture in fact grew from local Iron Age communities.
