Makimuku
Makimuku is an archaeological site in Sakurai, Nara Prefecture, Japan, at the foot of Mount Miwa. In the early 3rd century it grew into a large planned settlement with a major building complex and some of the earliest keyhole-shaped tombs, including Hashihaka. Many scholars see it as the centre of Queen Himiko's Yamatai or as the cradle of the Yamato kingship.
