Masekesa
Masekesa was a trading fair in the eastern Zimbabwe plateau region, in the area of Manica. According to the Rozvi Empire's profile, it was one of the coastal-linked markets where Portuguese and Swahili merchants bought gold and ivory in exchange for cloth, beads and manufactured goods. Such fairs channelled the empire's exports.
