Menarandra River
The Menarandra is a river of southern Madagascar, flowing south-west across the arid plateau to the sea. It roughly marked the boundary between the Mahafaly to the west and the Antandroy to the east, and the Mahafaly kingdoms of the 17th to 19th centuries lay between it and the Onilahy to the north. Like other rivers of the south, it often runs dry outside the rainy season.
