r. c. 165–130 BCE · 2nd century BCE · Also known as Milinda, Menander Soter

Menander I was the best-known Indo-Greek king, ruling much of the Punjab and Gandhara from Sagala in the mid-2nd century BCE. His coins are found widely in north-western India, and he led campaigns into the Ganges plain.
