Miróbriga

Miróbriga was a Celtic and Roman town near present-day Santiago do Cacém in the Alentejo, southern Portugal. Pliny the Elder called its people Mirobrigenses 'surnamed Celtici'. Its excavated ruins include a forum, temples, baths and one of the few known Roman hippodromes in Portugal.
