Nertobriga (Beturia)
Nertobriga was an ancient town of the Celtici in Beturia, near Fregenal de la Sierra in the province of Badajoz, south-western Spain. Pliny the Elder lists it among the Celtic towns of the region, and under Rome it bore the name Concordia Iulia. Its -briga ending marks a Celtic name; a Celtiberian town also called Nertobriga lay far away near Calatayud in Aragon.
