Moroka II
Moroka II was chief of the Seleka branch of the Barolong, a Tswana people, until his death in 1880. In 1833, with Wesleyan missionaries, he led his people from Platberg on the Vaal to Thaba Nchu, where a large town grew up. He allied with the Voortrekkers against the Ndebele in 1836–1837, and his chiefdom survived as an enclave within the Orange Free State until its annexation in 1884.
