The Naikda are an Adivasi community of eastern Gujarat, India, living mainly in the hills and forests of the Panchmahal and Vadodara districts, where they have traditionally farmed and gathered forest produce. Officially recognised as a Scheduled Tribe, they rose against British rule in 1858 and again in 1868 under the leader Joria Bhagat.
