Nannuka
Nannuka was the founder of the Chandela dynasty in the early 9th century, ruling around Khajuraho in Bundelkhand, then called Jejakabhukti, probably as a feudatory of the Gurjara-Pratiharas. Chandela inscriptions name him as the first of the line, which became an independent power under his descendants Yashovarman and Dhanga.
