National Dialogue Conference (Yemen)
The National Dialogue Conference was a forum of 565 delegates held in Sanaa from March 2013 to January 2014 as part of the transition agreed after the 2011 uprising in Yemen. It brought together parties, the Houthis, southern groups, women and youth to draft principles for a new constitution, proposing a federal state. Disputes over the federal regions contributed to the collapse of the transition in 2014.
