Ndlambe
Ndlambe was a Xhosa chief, son of Rharhabe, who acted as regent for his nephew Ngqika. Their rivalry split the Rharhabe Xhosa, and in 1818 Ndlambe's forces defeated Ngqika at Amalinde. Driven across the Fish River by British troops in 1812, he took part in the frontier war of 1818–1819.
