Nerl (Klyazma)

The Nerl is a river of central Russia, about 280 km long, that flows through the Suzdal region and joins the Klyazma near Bogolyubovo, east of Vladimir. Its valley was part of the core of Vladimir-Suzdal, and the Church of the Intercession built near its mouth in 1165 is one of the best-known monuments of medieval Russia.
