Nezahualpilli
Nezahualpilli was the ruler of Texcoco from 1472 to 1515, son and successor of Nezahualcoyotl. A partner in the Aztec Triple Alliance, he was famed as a wise judge, astrologer and poet, and is said to have foretold disasters for the Mexica. His death led to a disputed succession between his sons that weakened Texcoco on the eve of the Spanish conquest.
