Ngola Hari
Ngola Hari was a ruler of Ndongo in present-day Angola, installed by the Portuguese in 1626 as a rival to Queen Njinga. Based at the fortress of Pungo Andongo, he depended on Portuguese support while Njinga fought on from Matamba. When his successor rebelled, the Portuguese stormed Pungo Andongo in 1671, ending the kingdom of Ndongo.
