Nongsang jiyao
The Nongsang jiyao ('Essentials of Agriculture and Sericulture') is a Chinese agricultural handbook compiled by the Yuan government's Office for the Stimulation of Agriculture and issued in 1273. Drawing on earlier treatises, it covered grain farming, silkworm raising, mulberry and cotton cultivation, and was distributed to officials to help restore farming in northern China after decades of war.
