Ofala festival
The Ofala festival is an annual royal festival held by the Obi of Onitsha and by other traditional rulers in Igboland, especially in Anambra State, Nigeria. During the festival the king emerges from seclusion in full regalia to receive the homage of his chiefs, the Ndichie, and his people. Its pageantry reflects influences from the court of Benin.
