Oni

Oni is a small town in the Racha region of north-western Georgia, on the upper Rioni river. It was a seat of the eristavis (dukes) of Racha and had a long-established Jewish community, whose synagogue of the late 19th century still stands. The town was badly damaged by the Racha earthquake of 1991.
