Peltuinum
Peltuinum was an ancient town of the Vestini on a high plateau near Prata d'Ansidonia in the province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy. It grew as a stopping place on the drove road used by flocks moving between the mountains and Apulia, and became a Roman municipium on the Via Claudia Nova. Its ruins include walls, a temple and a theatre.
