Pura Taman Ayun

Also known as Taman Ayun

Pura Taman Ayun is a royal Hindu temple at Mengwi in southern Bali, Indonesia, built as the state temple of the Mengwi kingdom. Surrounded by a broad moat, with tiered meru shrines, it expressed the rulers' authority over irrigation and fertility. Since 2012 it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of Bali's subak irrigation system.
