Purana Qila
The Purana Qila, the Old Fort, is a fortress in Delhi built on a site traditionally identified with Indraprastha. Humayun began a city called Dinpanah there in the 1530s, and Sher Shah Suri rebuilt and completed the fort, adding the Qila-i-Kuhna mosque. The Sher Mandal pavilion inside was used by Humayun as a library, and he died after falling on its stairs in 1556.
