Qifu clan

The Qifu were a Xianbei clan who settled around the upper Yellow River in present-day Gansu in the 3rd and 4th centuries. Their chief Qifu Guoren declared himself ruler in 385 after the collapse of the Former Qin, founding the Western Qin, one of the Sixteen Kingdoms. The state lasted until 431, when its last ruler, Qifu Mumo, and his clan were killed by the Helian Xia.
