Ratanpur is a town in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh, India. Founded in the 11th century by Ratnaraja I of the Kalachuri dynasty, it became the capital of the Kalachuris of Ratanpur, who ruled Dakshina Kosala for centuries, until the Marathas of Nagpur took it in 1741. Its many temples and tanks include the Mahamaya temple, a major pilgrimage site.
