Rawa Voivodeship

1462–1793 · 15th century

The Rawa Voivodeship was a province of the Kingdom of Poland and later the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, created in 1462 when the Masovian duchy of Rawa was incorporated into the Crown. Its seat was Rawa Mazowiecka, and it comprised the lands of Rawa, Sochaczew and Gostynin. It belonged to the Greater Poland Province of the Crown until the Second Partition of Poland in 1793 gave it to Prussia.
