Sanghyang Tapak inscription
The Sanghyang Tapak inscriptions are four stones found near Cibadak in Sukabumi, West Java, dated to 1030 CE. They record that the Sundanese king Sri Jayabupati declared a stretch of the river sacred, forbade fishing there and called down curses on anyone who broke the ban. They are among the earliest dated records of the Sunda Kingdom and show royal authority over sacred land.
