Shatrunjaya
Shatrunjaya is a sacred hill above Palitana in Gujarat, India, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of the Jains. Its two summits are covered with more than 800 temples built over many centuries by merchant patrons, many of them rebuilt after the 16th century, and the main temple is dedicated to the first tirthankara, Rishabhanatha. Pilgrims climb thousands of steps to reach them.
