Someș
The Someș (Hungarian: Szamos) is a river of north-western Romania and eastern Hungary, a left tributary of the Tisza. It is formed at Dej by the union of the Someșul Mare and the Someșul Mic, which flows past Cluj-Napoca, and runs north-west past Satu Mare into Hungary. Its valleys link the heart of Transylvania with the Hungarian plain.
