Sri Bata Shaja
Sri Bata Shaja was a ruler of the Rajahnate of Butuan in north-eastern Mindanao. Chinese records of the Song dynasty note that in 1011 he sent an embassy with tribute to the Song court, seeking equal diplomatic status with Champa, one of the earliest documented contacts between a Philippine polity and China.
