State
Sungai Ujong
Sungai Ujong was a Minangkabau chiefdom on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, one of the states of the Negeri Sembilan confederacy, centred on modern Seremban. Rivalries over its tin mines brought British intervention in 1874, and it became part of the reconstituted Negeri Sembilan under British protection in 1895.
