Pagaruyung
Pagaruyung is a village in the Tanah Datar regency of West Sumatra, Indonesia, the seat of the Minangkabau royal house from the time of Adityawarman in the 14th century. The royal family was largely killed during the Padri War around 1815. A large replica of the royal palace, the Istano Basa, stands there today.
