Tapa, Estonia
Tapa is a small town in Lääne-Viru County in northern Estonia, a railway junction on the line from Tallinn to Narva and Tartu. It has long been an important military base. Since 2017 it has hosted a British-led NATO multinational battlegroup, deployed after Russia's annexation of Crimea to strengthen the alliance's presence in the Baltic states.
