Tegin Shah
Tegin Shah was a ruler of the Turk Shahi dynasty of Kabul and Gandhara in the early 8th century. He received titles from the Tang emperor of China in the 720s and, according to Chinese records, abdicated in 739 in favour of his son Fromo Kesaro. His reign fell in the period when the Turk Shahis held back Arab armies advancing from Sistan and Khurasan.
