The Tejeros Convention was a meeting of Filipino revolutionaries held at Tejeros in Cavite on 22 March 1897 to settle the rivalry between the Magdalo and Magdiwang factions of the Katipunan. It elected Emilio Aguinaldo president of a revolutionary government in place of Andrés Bonifacio, who rejected the result. Bonifacio was arrested and executed in May 1897.
